Morocco’s Ridges and Gorges by offroad – 12 days
Mоrocco – the country in North Africa, touching the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Colorful, scenic, aromatic, full of tastes and small surprises along the unpaved roads. The culture of the country bears the traces of Berberic, Arabic and European traditions. The old towns with their “medinas”, narrow streets, commercial bazaars and fortresses show the indescribable eastern spirit. A country with versatile nature and climate: The Sahara desert with its vast dunes and rocky plateaus with cutting gorges, the many oases, cedar forests, snowy mountain ridges and camel caravans walking along the roads.

Join us to explore it! You have the choice – 12 days offroad or on road tour – depending on your preferences and riding skills.
Both tours start with landing in Marrakesh.
From the 2nd to 11th day, we head towards our Marocco adventure. Riding on a bike is an exotic way to get a short distance acquainted with the beauty of the country. We will meet closely its nature and people.
Luggage is carried on a support vehicle, which has a mechanic to help us if there are any problems.
Accommodation is mostly in small cozy hotels and villas that serve good traditional Moroccan food.
The scenery will be variable and colorful. The Atlas Mountains will show its beauty with 3,000 meter high mountain passes, then narrow valleys and latter desert landscapes with sand dunes and lovely green oases.
The offroad tour is designed based on the participant skills. If necessary, the group may split in two based on adventurer capabilities for offroad terrain. The daily mileage is up to 200 km – where 50-70% will be off-road with different levels of difficulty. The off-road varies from bumpy gravel, stones and sandy sections. Some of the paths will cross riverbeds and fords or there could be stones on the way. The rest we will ride on asphalt.
The road tour will run in parallel on asphalt with short parts with gravel and each evening the groups is gathering for the overnight stay – another good option for shared experience.
Lunches will be taken on the way through local villages.
Along the travel routes there are many historical places or picturesque landscapes where the towns of M’Hamid, Taghbalte, Merzhouga and Tanghir will welcome us.
