Day by day schedule:

Day 1. Thessaloniki - arrival.

Arrival in Thessaloniki, the largest city in Northern Greece. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Before dinner, there will be a briefing where you will get acquainted with the KHL Moto Travel team, fellow participants, tour rules and the upcoming route.

Day 2. Start of the Journey – Thessaloniki - Albania 370 km

On the first day of our journey, we need to cover a distance of 370 km on the highway as our route to Albania takes us through the northern part of Greece. We travel along scenic mountain asphalt road, cross the border with Albania and arrive at Shelegër Lake. There we are welcomed by our hosts at a splendid villa and a fantastic dinner will greet us. From next morning we start our 6 days offroad tour in Albania.

Day 3. Day 3 to Day 8 - Real Offroad Adventure

On day 3 onwards, we start our 6 day offroad experience. The exact route for each of the days is designed based on the participant skills. If necessary, the group may split in two based on adventurer capabilities for offroad terrain. The daily tour is between 70 and 150 km with different level of difficulty. Lunch is on the go - with us from the morning or we grab something fresh from local village markets on the way. Tracks lead us through mountains and could be on sand, gravel, mud or clay. In some cases, denivelation could be 800m for the day and roads climb to 2500m above sea level. Some of the paths cross river beds and fords or there could be rocks on the way. Detailed Information of the route and terrain is provided upon request. For the 6 days real offroad there will be two locations for overnight stay. Each evening will be relaxing and recharging . In cases where some participants need a rest, we can provide offroad car tour. Along the travel route there are many historical places or picturesque landscapes like: The impressive Langarica Canyon featuring natural thermal springs; The Tomorri Mountain National Park along the scenic Osumi Canyon, surrounded by incredible vistas and the warmth of thermal springs. The old Roman (Ottoman) bridge, a perfect spot for capturing vibrant photographs. We'll witness breathtaking landscapes and the grandeur of mountain ranges. The mausoleum and monument of Abbas Ail Turbe. The ancient Ottoman Empire-era city of Gjirokastër, a town with museum status and UNESCO World Heritage Site recognition … and on the last adventure day of our offroad we will head to the plateau, where a magnificent panorama of mountains and surrounding valleys will unfold in front of us. We won't miss the opportunity to have a photoshoot and video by drone.

Day 9. Travel to Thessaloniki 370 km

The tour finishes in Thessaloniki, where a farewell dinner awaits you. This will be an opportunity for you to share your impressions and photos from the journey with KHL Moto travel!!!
